Skipton AC is a small athletics club based in Skipton. The club caters for athletes of all abilities and disciplines (typically road running and fell running as well as track and field events). Baildon Boundary Way
Congrats to Phil Evans (1:41:15 & course PB) and 2nd F35-ish Karen Chown (1:42:18 first time BBW) in the multi terrain, half marathon Baildon Boundary Way, 6th April 2008. Good to see Justin Hill travelling west from Hull (way better than going east of Hull), also on his first BBW and cantering round in 1:48:40. Just a tad down on last year's time was Jayne Butterworth (1:58:40). There were clear blue skies when we started but a keen, cold wind. Chris Rose and Paul Norman took ample opportunity to gaze at the fine views whilst topping up their skiing suntans and cruised around in fine style but stuck in 2nd gear.
