Skipton AC is a small athletics club based in Skipton. The club caters for athletes of all abilities and disciplines (typically road running and fell running as well as track and field events). Helvellen Club Walk (May 2008)
Every month (ish) Skipton AC organises a walk. On Sunday 18th May 14 of us headed off up Striding Edge to the summit of Helvellyn. It was great day all round. thanks to Rick for organising the walk, hiring the bus, driving the bus and generally keeping us entertained. Check out the photos here.
The next walk planned for July 3rd/4th (Thurs/Fri) is a two day stroll from Skipton to Dent with a Camp/B&B mid way (2 x 17miles). If you fancy joining us speak to John (01756 701172)
